Just over a week to go before Lynn and I go off on our Cretan adventure. It is only a few weeks since I got back from a lovely time in Germany with my soul-sisters and my 'German Mum'. There was lots of chats, lots of memories, nice places to visit, and I was looked after like royalty. It was a bit of a shock when I got home: I had forgotten how to shop and cook and stuff. Took me a while to pick myself up, but I am ok now. I was going to have a Macmillan Coffee Morning/fundraiser on 1st october, but decided it would be too much for me. So I called it off. I will still send a % from this month's card sales, so although I am a bit disappointed not to be doing much for the cause, I am quite chuffed that I was sensible enough to think of me.

So, two weeks in Crete coming up. I have never been that far, and can't remember when I went away for that long, so I am a bit nervous, of course, but Lynn will look after me. She has been there before. We are staying in a hotel run by a German couple. Gut, nicht?

Work is pretty horrid - bad atmosphere, knoves in our backs (we feel) so I am not going to say much about it. I now do 18.5 hours a week, which is nice but unrewarding, in more ways than one. I am going to win £3,000,000 soon - I have arranged it, so that will be nice.
